The new recreational class schedule is here for the 2026-2027 season at The NINE Dance Academy in Vaughan, Ontario. We offer recreational dance classes for ages 2 through 18+ across jazz, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, tap, acro, jazzercise, pilates and stretch, all taught by some of the GTA’s most experienced instructors at our new state-of-the-art facility at 8301 Jane Street, Vaughan.
Whether you’re looking for your toddler’s very first dance class, an after-school activity for your elementary-aged child, or a teen-level program with serious training, you’ll find a fit on our weekly schedule below. All recreational classes run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Our Tuesday recreational classes are designed for our youngest movers and our 6-12 year old jazz dancers.

Thursdays are our biggest preschool day plus evening hip-hop classes for our 9-12 year olds.

Recreational Class Age Groups at The NINE
Every recreational class at The NINE is grouped by age and ability to make sure your dancer is learning in the right environment to thrive.
- Ages 2-3 — Peanuts: a gentle introduction to movement through play, music and creative exploration.
- Ages 4-5 / 4-6 — Baby Boogie, Acro Tumble Tots, Ballet Bunnies, Tapping Tiny’s and Hip-Hop Monkeys.
- Ages 6-8 — Foundational technique classes across jazz, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, tap and acro.
- Ages 9-12 — Skill-building level classes for elementary-aged dancers across every genre.
- Teens (12+) — Teen Hip-Hop, Teen Contemporary and Teen Pilates / Stretch for high school dancers.

Recreational class registration for the 2026-2027 season is now open. Spots fill quickly, especially for our Saturday classes and our youngest age groups.
